Technical Officer: South West

Sandra Klinger

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to introduce myself as the new BJA Technical Officer with responsibility for the South West Region.

I have a high level coaching degree from the Coaches Academy of he University of Cologne in Germany. For the last 6 years I have worked as the National Coach for Cadets for the German Judo Federation and as the Head Coach for Women for the Olympic Training Centre in Frankfurt/Oder.  

My main target here in South West is to bring all the resources that we have together to build a strong system so that we have the possibility to develop and perform better in the future - I also want to build a strong connection to the new England Excel Programme.

It is a big job, one that I obviously can’t do alone and I need really help from all of you. Times are changing and it’s my strong opinion that we can only be successful if we work together to build and develop our systems in South West.

If we work together and utilise all our strengths I believe we can create a very successful system together!
