DESCRIPTION:Level 2 tournament\nOpen to all British Judo and affiliated association members\nJuniors Novice to green belt, 8-15 years and Seniors Novice to green belt, 14+ years\n\nCategory 1:      Juniors aged 8-15 years – Novice to yellow belt\n 1A – Boys                                                        1B – Girls\nThere are no weight categories. All players will be sorted into groups by weight, age &amp; grade. These will be single pools with all players receiving a medal.\nTechnical restrictions will apply. No armlocks/strangles.\nCategory 2:      Juniors aged 8-11 years – Orange &amp; green belts\n2A – Boys                                                        2B – Girls \nThere are no weight categories. All players will be sorted into groups by weight. These will be single pools.  Only those coming 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th will receive a medal.\nTechnical restrictions will apply. No armlocks/strangles.\nCategory 3:      Juniors aged 12-15 years – Orange &amp; green belts\n3A – Boys                                                        3B – Girls\nThere are no weight categories. We will aim to sort all players into groups so there are two pools into crossover, by weight. Single pools will be used where required. Only those coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd (plus 4th if single pool) will receive a medal.\nNo Technical restrictions. No armlocks/strangles.\nCategory 4:      Seniors aged 14+ years – Novice to green belt\n4A – Men Novice to green belt                         4B – Women Novice to green belt \nThere are no weight categories. We will aim to sort all players into groups so there are two pools into crossover, by weight. Single pools will be used where required. Only those coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd (plus 4th if single pool) will receive a medal.\nIf numbers permit these groups may be split into red/yellow and orange/green.\nArmlocks and strangles permitted.\n \nMedals will be presented on the mats straight after each group have finished competing.\n Entry:              £19 per player.\n14/15 year olds are welcome to enter both juniors and seniors. No late entries will be accepted.\nWeigh-in:         There will an open weigh-in, all players must present themselves to the weigh-in wearing competition acceptable judo bottoms plus t-shirt and footwear.\nAll players must have/wear a white judogi.\nEnsure you bring your British Judo (affiliate) membership card (and that it is in date) and record book. If you do not have this, you will not be able to compete.\nPlease ensure you change in the changing rooms.\nFootwear must be worn at all times when you are not on the mat.\nPlayers entered in multiple categories are only required to weigh-in once.\nWeigh-in times:           Weigh-in times will be emailed out a week before the date of the competition.\nInformation:    Spectators are free.\nCar parking is free for 3 hours (car registration numbers must be entered into the consul in the Leisure Centre) or £5 for the day, payable at the leisure centre reception on entry. Please note the car park uses registration number plate detection to record your entry/leave times and there are parking enforcement cameras around the site.\nBristol now operates a CAZ scheme, full details can be found here: https://www.bristol.gov.uk/residents/streets-travel/bristols-caz\nThe leisure centre is open from 8am, access to the sports hall will not be before 8.30am.\nTea/coffee and light refreshments will be available throughout the day from the centre’s café.
