DESCRIPTION:Application closing date: 2nd March 2025\nFurther information available from: Pete Whitfield | petewhitfield62@gmail.com ( mailto:petewhitfield62@gmail.com ) | 07599 111815\nCourse Details:\nThe aim of this course is to introduce players to Gonosen-No-Kata (Forms of Counterattack) & Itsutsu-No-Kata (The Five Forms).\nGonosen-No-kata consists of a range of traditional Nage-Waza (Throwing Techniques) with some being used for the initial attack & others being used for the counterattack. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your Judo skills.\nItsutsu-No-Kata consists of five techniques which use judo techniques to overcome a range of forces.\nThe course and will cover the Kata requirements of Sections 7, 8 or 9 of the Technical Dan Grade examination.\nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course which is worth one credit.\nThe course is limited to 10 places, due to the size of the tatami.\nAll applicants must hold a current FULL BJA membership & be a minimum grade of 3rd Kyu (Green Belt).\nIdeally you would attend with a partner to practice with, however we will endeavour to pair up individuals who attend the course.\n
