Bristol County Judo were out in force at 2024 British Judo Awards. Bedminster Judokwai, Patchway Judo and Yate Star Judo all having members shortlisted for National awards.
Zoe Locke, Patchway Judo chair was the winner of the Volunteer award, on the back of the club winning Club of the year in 2023. Mike Guatieri was the winner of Referee of the year award, where his work to develop and support referees was acknowledged.
Runners up for the Young Volunteer of the year award were Archie from Bedminster and Amelia from Patchway, both acknowledged for their time and efforts at their clubs.
