Bringing judokas and clubs together is essential as we all contribute to the growth of our sport and, more importantly, enhance the experiences for our judoka.
We are excited to announce the return of our combined training and coach education days, something we haven’t done since before COVID-19.
Inspiring participation in events is never easy, so we are incredibly proud of everyone who took the time and made the effort to travel and get involved today.
The coaching lineup was exceptional, offering a wealth of knowledge across various modules.
We also had a surprise guest, 2024 Olympic athlete Lele Nairne, who delivered an incredible masterclass for our future generation of judoka.
Outside of the mat, many club coaches participated in the BJA Module Contest Rules session led by Mike Guatieri.
Additionally, Alison and Carrie conducted a Time Keepers and Contest Recorders course, while the exam provided an opportunity for club volunteers to engage more actively in running events for their clubs.
Overall, the day was a tremendous success. Despite a few last-minute program changes, everyone came together to ensure that the judoka had the best opportunity to enjoy judo and benefit from a wonderful day of training.
A massive thank you to all who attended and to the coaches who generously dedicated their time to support us once again.
